Stores Driver - Heathrow Airport

Optime Group are excited to be recruiting for Stores Manager to join a well-respected and successful client at Heathrow Airport.

• Due to additional security checks required for this role, successful applicants MUST have lived in the UK for the last 5 years.
• You must hold a valid UK Manual Driving Licence.

• Rate of Pay: £13.50 per hour.
• Shifts available: 08:00 am to 18:00 pm (You must be flexible with the hours you work)
• Shift Pattern: Rotational – 4 on 4 off
• Weekly Pay (every Friday)
• Full training provided (2 weeks)
• Temp to Perm (performance-based)

Key Duties:

• Operate and manoeuvre all authorised company vehicles safely across the airport environment.
• Conduct vehicle shunting activities in line with airside safety regulations and operational requirements.
• Coordinate the timely delivery and collection of vehicles across designated airport locations, including CP19.
• Support the efficient loading and unloading of deliveries, ensuring accuracy and care in handling goods.
• Assist with loading and unloading of stores vehicles, maintaining stock integrity and organisation.
• Ensure compliance with all driving requirements, holding and maintaining a valid manual driving licence (D1 category).
• Work flexibly across shift patterns to meet operational demands (shift schedule to be confirmed).
• Assist with the refuelling of vehicles, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental procedures.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and security in all tasks carried out within the airside environment.
• Provide support with ad hoc operational duties as required during shifts, contributing to overall team efficiency.

Shifts:

The Airport is operational 7 days per week and candidates will be working 4 on 4 off , Rotational you will need to be fully flexible with the days and hours you can work. This could be subject to change!

Requirements:

• 5 years of working experience in the UK (compulsory)
• Valid UK driving licence (compulsory)
• Strong training delivery and presentation skills
• Previous leadership or team leading experience
• Good understanding of SSOW, compliance, and operational processes
• Excellent communication and coaching abilities
• Full computer knowledge (compulsory)
• Flexible to work rotational shifts
• Willingness to support overtime during peak operational periods
• Successful candidates will be required to complete a basic criminal record check following the interview in line with CAA requirements.

Please note: As this is an airport role, successful candidates must pass security checks in-line with CAA regulations. These checks include 5-year work and address history, DBS (must have no disqualifying criminal convictions), valid Right to Work.
