Agile Project Manager – Fintech50

Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Project Manager to join our high profile client.

Our client is a recently acquired financial technology business who is currently taking the factoring and invoicing market by storm. This is a brand new project to create an efactoring platform and CRM system from scratch. They are also looking to acquire new businesses and smooth out a set of disparate systems.

The IT Project Manager will take responsibility for the management of IT projects. This will include meeting project commitments, including communications with sponsors and stakeholders. The IT Project Manager will also take responsibility for managing the project budget and technical resources, which will be provided from various Technical operation teams, external suppliers and consultants.

On a day to day basis the Project Manager will:

·Be able to lead and participate in Scrum and agile activities, and support the teams as a coach in project delivery methodology

·Help the software engineering team to implement a strong release management function

·Provide day-to-day coordination and quality assurance for initiatives and tasks in the software engineering team.

·Help the team coordinate the incident management function including post mortems and repair items.

·Help drive alignment in the broader Software Engineering team around the strategic plans and roadmap

·Manage the coordination of non-technical tasks and initiatives across the broader Engineering team.

·Drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions.

Project Managers must have: (Below also shows tech stack)

§5 years commercial project management experience

§Experience of Software Development

§Ideally financial experience

§An excellent track record of complex project delivery.

§Specific skills in project management methodologies (e.g. Prince 2, PMP, Scrum Master) and management tools (e.g. Jira, Salesforce and planning tools)

§Significant track record in similar project management roles delivering complex, technical projects on time in full and on budget. (IDC2, Matchmaker)

§Proven experience of managing cradle to grave projects including Integration Management, Scope Management, Cost Management, Time Management and Stakeholder Management.
