Events Executive (6-Month FTC)
- Be responsible, in conjunction with the other Events team members, for the development and implementation of the events and webcasts across EMEA and Latin America, ensuring activities are aligned with business objectives, priority products and market trends
- Manage and execute first class physical, hybrid and virtual events and webcasts, from concept through to completion and post event reporting and evaluation, both individually and as part of a team.
- Work closely with the channel marketing managers and regional sales teams to implement the events strategy by region based on allocated budget.
- Support event processes meticulously to ensure accurate delivery and reporting of events, as well as suggest improvements where necessary to make efficiencies.
- Identify key success metrics and monitor success of events and webcasts against these.
- Maintain a calendar of all events and webcasts that aligns our sales objectives with planned events.
- Develop dedicated events microsites, email communications, advertising, and bespoke styling for events in-keeping with brand guidelines.
- Manage the commission and supply of relevant promotional giveaways to support events activity through the year.
- Work closely with compliance to ensure all events are executed within regulatory guidelines, and assets produced are complied accurately and timely.
- Liaise with external agencies and suppliers as required.
- Use industry experience to find creative ways to engage with our audience, share knowledge and enhance client experience.
- Contribute to deliver quarterly, monthly, and ad hoc reports and presentations as requested by the board, distribution management, and sales.
- Put the client at the heart of all activity, ensuring the client experience is seamless, engaging, and informative.
- Ensure familiarity with Janus Henderson’s product offering, financial promotions/literature principles and processes, as well as guidance from compliance. Ensure appropriate checks and sign off procedures are always adhered to.

- Educated to degree level or similar
- Experience in events management, including developing, implementing and managing events and events related activities
- Sound influencing skills, measured, diplomatic and assertive
- Highly detail orientated individual
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Experience using virtual event platforms and video conferencing software
- Computer literate, with good skills in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Experience using Pardot / Salesforce / Workfront / ON24
- Second language (preferably Italian, Spanish, German or French)
