We are partnering with an Outstanding girls' school in Haringey that is seeking a fantastic temporary, part-time English Teacher to join their team, starting ASAP. This is a wonderful opportunity to ignite a deep love for literature and language in students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with exciting potential for Key Stage 5.

What you'll be doing:

• You'll be crafting and delivering engaging English lessons that explore a rich variety of literary texts and develop students' understanding of language in all its forms.
• It's about creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom where every girl feels empowered to express themselves creatively and explore the power of words.
• You'll inspire students to develop their critical thinking, analytical skills, and a genuine appreciation for the nuances of the English language.

What we're looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in English Language and Literature.
• Experience teaching engaging and effective English lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
• A deep and current understanding of English literature and language, plus that ability to truly bring the subject to life.
• Excellent communication skills, strong classroom management, and a knack for encouraging a love of reading and writing.
