Part Time Nanny

A fabulous live-out two day nanny position has become available, working with a professional and friendly family in a beautiful home with a large garden, in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire. Both Mum and Dad occasionally work from home, but this will be a sole charge role.

The hours will be 10.00-19.00 on Tuesday and Thursday (18 hours). Any additional hours will be mutually agreed and paid as overtime.

You will be responsible for looking after two happy girls aged eight and six. The children are active and take part in many after school clubs and sports, which you will collect them from. The children enjoy tennis, piano, drama and music, as well as arts and crafts and games at home. They are looking for a kind and friendly nanny who will enjoy interacting with them.

Before picking the children from school or their activities each day, you will have some time in the house to help keep family life running smoothly. The family employ a cleaner each week, so your responsibilities will include housekeeping work such as children’s laundry and ironing, maintaining the children’s rooms and toys, and cooking healthy and nutritious meals for the children each day. You will oversee any homework, uniform, sports kit or costumes needed for school each day. You will help with the grocery shopping, running errands to the post office, dry cleaners, etc.

You will end the day with the bath and bedtime routine, ensuring that all used rooms are left tidy, ready for when the parents return from work.

During school holidays, there will be the opportunity to take the children on day trips or activities, keeping them happy and safe at all times.
You should be a careful and confident driver, with a clean licence. There is a fully insured duty car available.

Required Training: Enhanced DBS (update) and 12-Hour Paediatric First Aid

Pay: £16,848 gross per annum / mutually agreed overtime to be paid at £18 gross per hour
