Communications Engineer (Airwaves / Tetra)


I am recruiting for a communication engineer to work within an emergency service response team covering support, engineering with communication devices on Airwaves / Tetra.



Experience


Work closely with external partners and third-party vendors, suppliers.
The role is responsible for the technical support of the Airwave radio service delivered to Control Rooms.
Experience with Voice Recording, Radio Frequency (RF), Tetra Systems, Radio Configuration and Testing.
Extensive experience delivering and supporting call handling and dispatch solutions in a safety critical environment.
Good experience of incident management, resolution, requests, changes and problem solving are delivered to agreed SLAs. Following ITIL processes.
Experience of developing and delivering end user training.
Experience in Asset Management.
ICCS Administration certified.


This is a permanent role based in London, onsite with a hybrid working model and expectations of at least two days a week in the office. Salary range is 55,000 - 65,000 plus benefits.
