Role Overview

We are recruiting an experienced, French-speaking Nanny/Governess for a high-net-worth family based in Holland Park, London. The role involves the care and educational development of twin boys aged 16 months.
This is a long-term opportunity for a confident, nurturing and professional candidate with strong early years experience, ideally with twins or multiple children of a similar age. The successful candidate will be proactive in supporting the children’s developmental milestones while working collaboratively within an established household team.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing full care and supervision of the twin boys
• Planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate educational activities and play
• Creating stimulating indoor and outdoor experiences, with a preference for a Montessori-inspired approach
• Supporting developmental milestones including routine progression, potty training and dummy/pacifier weaning
• Adapting and evolving daily routines in line with the children’s growth
• Maintaining excellent communication with the parents
• Working collaboratively with the existing nanny and household staff
• Accompanying the family on UK and international travel when required

Candidate Requirements

• Native or fluent French speaker
• Strong experience caring for young children from approximately 15 months
• Proven experience caring for multiple children simultaneously (twin experience highly desirable)
• Recognised childcare qualifications preferred
• Up-to-date First Aid certification and DBS
• Good working knowledge of English
• Demonstrated longevity in previous private household roles
• Excellent, verifiable references
• Flexible, discreet, positive and professional manner
