ROLE: Wrap around care nanny

Hours: Monday - Friday 6:30am - 8:20am the 4:30pm - 7/8pm
Salary based on experience £18 gross per hour
Children's ages: 6 and 8
A friendly family based in Lymington, Hampshire are seeking a reliable, caring, and proactive nanny to support their two children, aged 6 and 8 years, with wraparound care.

The role is due to start on 19th January and is Monday to Friday.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
Early morning start at 6:30am
Afternoon and evening care after school
Thursdays require additional hours due to school drop-off, pick-up, and an after-school activity
Role Overview

This is a wraparound position supporting the children before and after school. Mum travels for work and leaves early in the mornings, so reliability and punctuality are essential.
Morning Duties
Arrive at the family home at 6:30am
Prepare and serve breakfast for the children
Help the children get dressed and ready for the day
Ensure school bags and belongings are prepared
Get the children ready for the school bus
Thursdays: Drive and drop both children at school
Afternoon & Evening Duties
Meet the children from the school bus or collect from school (depending on the day)
Prepare and cook a healthy evening meal
Feed the children and clear away after dinner
Support the children with their evening routine
Assist the eldest child with homework and reading

Thursdays specifically:
Pick up the youngest child at 3:00pm
Take responsibility for the eldest child’s gymnastics lesson, including waiting for the session to finish
Collect the eldest child after gymnastics and return home
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience working as a nanny or in a similar childcare role
Confident caring for school-aged children
A driver with their own car (essential, particularly for Thursdays)
A clean driving licence
Organised, dependable, and able to work independently
Comfortable supporting homework and reading
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
