Job Responsibilities As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Support pupils with special educational needs in class and during small group/1:1 sessions. Work closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored learning activities. Encourage pupils' independence, confidence, and progress. Promote a positive learning environment that aligns with the school's values of friendship, family, and faith. Support wider school activities, including extracurricular clubs where required. Qualifications/Experience The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will have: Previous experience supporting children with SEN (desirable but not essential). A positive, patient, and nurturing approach. Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team. Enhanced DBS Certificate registered with the Update Service. Right to work in the UK.
