Could you be our new Lead Data Engineer ? Are you?
- A leader in data engineering with experience driving cloud migration and modernisation projects.
- Experienced in Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- A strong cloud data architecture with sophisticated SQL skills.
- Experienced in Python and/or Spark for large data processing.
- Knowledgeable of CI/CD practices (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) for cloud data solutions.
- Equipped with demonstrable leadership skills to drive excellence through best practice frameworks.
- Analytical, a critical thinker and possess excellent communication skills.
Your new role:
You will architect and drive data engineering solutions across our cloud-based analytics ecosystem.
- Leading and mentoring data engineering teams, promoting best practice and a culture of continuous learning.
- Crafting and optimising scalable data solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric.
- Modernising legacy ETL/ELT processes to cloud-native tools.
- Ensuring data governance, security, and compliance.
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver actionable insights via Power BI and Fabric's unified analytics capabilities.
- Driving automation and innovation reducing manual effort and accelerating value delivery.
