The Chief Financial Officer is looking for an Executive Assistant based in London.

This advert will expire on Friday 2nd of October.

This is an opportunity to provide comprehensive, proactive and highly professional support to a senior Financial Executive who reports directly to the UK CEO, alongside dedicated support to a Director. You will act as a trusted partner, helping manage complex priorities, time, travel and stakeholder engagement with discretion, efficiency and sound judgement.

You will also provide leave and absence cover for Personal Assistants supporting other Directors within the function, helping ensure continuity of support across the leadership team.

  • Provide full diary and calendar management for the Executive, proactively prioritising time, resolving conflicts and coordinating meetings across stakeholders, locations and time zones.

  • Provide dedicated diary, meeting and travel support to a designated Director, including preparation of presentations, reports and meeting materials.

  • Ensure agendas, briefing packs and supporting documentation are available, track actions from leadership meetings and follow up on commitments.

  • Arrange domestic and international travel, accommodation, visas and itineraries, managing changes and disruptions while remaining compliant with company policy.

  • Coordinate leadership offsites, town halls, team events and strategic workshops.

  • Act as a trusted point of contact for senior leaders, CEO Office colleagues, Group teams and external partners, handling confidential and commercially sensitive information with discretion.

  • Manage expenses, records, documentation and governance deadlines accurately and within agreed timescales.

  • Provide leave and absence cover across the wider leadership support team and collaborate with the Executive Assistant and Personal Assistant community to promote consistent ways of working.

Professional Experience

  • Significant experience providing Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant support to senior executives in a complex corporate environment. (Required)

  • Proven experience managing highly complex diaries, competing priorities and senior stakeholder requirements. (Required)

  • Experience supporting Executive Committee, C-Suite or Board-level leaders and/or working within financial services, banking or a regulated environment. (Preferred)

Education

Salary Range

£38,652.00 - £57,978.00 per annum (depending on experience)

This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills, experience, qualifications and location.
