Dental Beauty Partners are excited to be opening a search for an experienced and qualified Dental Therapist to join us here in the Dental Beauty Partners group. Dental Beauty Bedfont is a lovely mixed practice led by our Partner Dr. Adam Silan and is in great location close to Feltham with public transport links and free parking on-site.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an experienced clinical team in delivering a high quality treatment journey to our patients. We are looking for a dedicated & forward-thinking Dental Therapist who is able to build long term relationships with patients. You will have access to high quality equipment and materials, and work within a supportive environment in a fresh and modern surgery.
We are looking for a Dental Therapist to join us in either a 4 or 5 Day P/W Position (Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality preventive, periodontal and restorative dental care to patients of all ages, working within GDC scope of practice and individual competence
- Carrying out clinical examinations, periodontal assessments, diagnosis and treatment planning within scope, referring patients to dentists or other appropriate clinicians where required
- Delivering a range of preventive treatments, including oral health education, fluoride applications, fissure sealants, periodontal therapy and scaling/root surface debridement
- Provide direct restorative treatments on primary and permanent teeth, including the management of dental caries within scope
- Work collaboratively with dentists and the wider dental team to ensure patients receive comprehensive, coordinated care, making appropriate referrals where treatment falls outside the therapist's scope
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records, treatment plans and patient notes, ensuring compliance with GDC and practice requirements
- Deliver agreed NHS UDA targets, managing an appropriate patient book and maximising clinical capacity while maintaining high standards of patient care
- Contribute to the financial and operational performance of the practice through effective utilisation of clinical time and delivery of contracted activity
- Build strong relationships with patients, providing clear advice on treatment options, prevention and ongoing oral health
- Maintain excellent standards of cross-infection control, safeguarding, patient confidentiality and clinical governance
- Maintain professional development through CPD and ongoing training, ensuring continued competence and appropriate indemnity/insurance.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Valid GDC registration as a Dental Therapist – ideally with 1 years private experience in the UK
- Valid Immunisations (Hep B)
- Clear DBS certificate & full indemnity cover must be secured prior to starting in the position
- Able to deliver a fantastic patient journey & ensure our patients have a positive experience in practice
- Commercially aware and target-driven, with the ability to consistently deliver agreed NHS UDA targets without compromising patient care
- Excellent clinical skills across preventive, periodontal and restorative care
Benefits
- A competitive salaried position, with a basic salary of £42,000 (roughly based on delivering 4000 UDA's across the course of a year), and scope to earn an additional bonus of £ 8000 for further UDA delivery
