Key Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of patent box clients and ensure smooth project delivery.
• Prepare patent box claims for submission to HMRC and address queries effectively.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Provide expert advice on tax technical points related to patent box claims.
• Supervise, coach, and delegate tasks to junior team members, fostering their growth.
• Identify and develop new opportunities, including participating in pitches for new business.

Your Skills and Expertise

• Strong project management abilities to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills to support client interactions and internal collaboration.
• Proficiency in report writing, preparing technical memos, and delivering concise advice notes.
• Demonstrated analytical skills for performing numerical analysis of client data.
• Knowledge of related tax areas such as corporate tax, transfer pricing, or R&D credits is advantageous but not mandatory.
