Details Job ID: 35653 Entity: Colt Core Job Location: UK Function: Sales Job Level: S2 Employment Type: Perm / FTC Why we need this role We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Business Development Manager to accelerate growth within our Capital Markets Solutions portfolio. This is a strategic role focused on expanding our ecosystem of exchanges, market data providers, and technology partners, while driving new revenue streams through innovative partnerships and targeted sales initiatives. What you will do- Lead and execute sales campaigns in collaboration with strategic partners to drive Capital Markets revenue.
- Identify, engage, and onboard new exchanges, ECNs, ISVs, and crypto market participants into our ecosystem.
- Support the Global Sales Specialists in achieving their bookings targets through strategic account engagement.
- Define and pursue a target list of Extranet providers and members, facilitating onboarding and commercial agreements.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key partners to unlock incremental revenue opportunities.
- Collaborate with Product and Sales teams to refine and communicate our value proposition to the market.
- Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and panel discussions to promote our Capital Markets offerings.
- Provide market intelligence and feedback to the Product team to inform future solution development.
What we're looking for
- Proven track record in business development or strategic partnerships within the Capital Markets, FinTech, or Financial Services sectors.
- Strong understanding of financial trading ecosystems, including exchanges, ECNs, ISVs, and market data providers.
- Experience with Extranet services, connectivity solutions, or financial infrastructure is highly desirable.
- Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills, with the ability to close complex deals.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities across technical and commercial teams.
- Ability to articulate technical solutions in a clear, compelling way to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment with occasional travel.
- Experience participating in or speaking at industry events is a plus.
