Product Development Manager

We are seeking to hire an experienced Product Development Manager to join us at Royal London Asset Management to lead the development and market introduction of new products/funds within our Proposition Team.
In this role you will be responsible for driving the product launch lifecycle, from business case to implementation, ensuring that all regulatory, commercial, operational and jurisdictional requirements are met.

About the role
- Effectively manage new fund launches, from simple to more complex, across different asset classes, fund types and across both the UK and Ireland.
- Manage significant changes to existing products including regulatory changes to new and existing products.
- Manage all internal and external approvals
- Know and apply product development process with customers’ needs at heart (fit with Royal London Values).
- Effectively manage a variety of key stakeholders, including fund managers, operational teams, sales teams and senior management.
About you
- Strong product development experience in asset management.
- Knowledge of product structures, in particular UCITS and AIFs domiciled in the UK and Ireland
- Strong understanding of investment products, including familiarity with various asset/fund types: equity, fixed income, property, cash, multi-asset, derivatives
- In-depth and up-to-date knowledge of regulatory environment and authorised funds, including UCITS, AIFMD, COBS, COLL.
- Experience of developing and taking to market complex client-centric investment solution.
- Strong project management and implementation skills.
- Possess a positive attitude in all areas of work.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Be able to communicate verbally and through written means in an effective manner and provide a professional level of information within the business
