About the Role
The French Teacher will deliver high-quality, engaging lessons to inspire students in learning French. You will support the development of a well-structured, enquiry-led curriculum and contribute to enrichment opportunities such as language clubs, cultural events, and competitions.
Key responsibilities include:
• Teaching French across KS3, GCSE, and A Level
• Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
• Assessing student progress and providing targeted support
• Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives
• Supporting extra-curricular language activities and trips
The Ideal Candidate
• QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Degree in French or a related discipline
• Experience teaching KS3–KS5 French desirable
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Enthusiastic, reflective, and student-focused
• Commitment to high academic standards and student development
