About the Role:

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for:

• To initiate the production of detailed reports following any reportable incidents or occurrences. Escalating to the Director of Facilities, Client and Security Manager at the earliest opportunity in line with site procedures.
• Protect the Client, and their staff assets by effectively controlling access to the site through physical security measures and the electronic security infrastructure that has been provided and promoting security awareness amongst the team.
• Be fully conversant with all processes, procedures and policies pertaining to or utilised by the security operation. Highlighting any required amendments to the Security Manager in a timely manner wherever necessary

• To monitor all site documentation and reports completed during your shift checking they are completed fully, accurately and to a high standard offering advice or corrective action to all security staff where required

What we are looking for:

• To hold a current DS SIA Licence
• Proven experience in a security role or a similar position.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to identify and respond to security threats.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, visitors, and authorities.
• Ability to remain calm and act decisively in high-pressure situations.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
