We are currently seeking a hardworking Year 6 Teacher to join a progressive school located in Lambeth from September 2024. This is a wonderful opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a positive impact on the lives of students and contribute to their educational journey.

Year 6 Teacher Responsibilities

· As a Year 6 teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care of children taking their first steps in Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.

· Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses

· Keeping track of children's progress and occasionally reporting back to parents

 

Year 6 Teacher Requirements

· A qualified teacher status (QTS), PGCE or equivalent

· Experience in teaching Year 6 students and preparing them for SATs exams

· A proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons and achieving excellent academic results

· A strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment methodologies

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

· Patience, resilience, and a passion for teaching

· A willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues
