A welcoming Primary School in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames is seeking an organised and professional School Administrator to join its friendly office team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a busy school environment and delivering outstanding support to pupils, parents, staff and visitors.
Working alongside the Office Manager and Headteacher, you will become an important member of the administration team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office while providing an efficient and welcoming service to the wider school community.

Administration Team
The Administration Team provides efficient and professional support across every aspect of school life.
Responsibilities
Acting as the first point of contact for visitors and parents.
Managing telephone and email enquiries.
Maintaining accurate pupil records.
Supporting admissions administration.
Preparing letters, reports and school correspondence.
Managing meeting bookings and staff diaries.
Updating the school's Management Information System.
Supporting attendance administration.
Processing incoming and outgoing post.
Ordering office supplies.
Assisting with school events and parents' evenings.
Maintaining confidential records in line with GDPR.
Supporting senior leaders with administrative tasks.
Assisting with finance administration where required.
Providing general office support across the school.
Requirements
Previous administration experience.
School administration experience is desirable.
Excellent organisational skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office.
Experience using school MIS systems is advantageous.
High attention to detail.
Professional and approachable manner.
Ability to prioritise a varied workload.
Commitment to safeguarding.
