We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our Global Legal Function in the role of Executive Assistant in Litigation and Regulatory Enforcement.
You’ll provide high-level executive support to the Global Head of Litigation, Regulatory Enforcement and Investigations, gaining exposure to senior stakeholders and the strategic operation of a global function. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, complex environment where your judgement, confidence and stakeholder management skills will make a real difference.
As an HSBC employee in the UK, you’ll have access to tailored professional development opportunities and a competitive pay and benefits package. This includes private healthcare for all UK-based employees, enhanced maternity and adoption pay and support when you return to work, and a contributory pension scheme with a generous employer contribution.
In this role you’ll:
- Provide high level, proactive executive support to the Global head of Litigation, Regulatory Enforcement and Investigations, with potential additional support to a senior Manager Director
- Manage complex diaries. Meetings, priorities and competing demands, ensuring senior stakeholders are appropriately supported, and key commitments are effectively coordinated
- Coordinate senior-level meetings, OpCo activities, governance forums and associated materials, ensuring actions and follow-ups are appropriately managed
- Build effective relationships with senior stakeholders and their teams, acting as a trusted point of contact and exercising discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information
- Support the smooth running of the wider function through effective coordination, administration and communication, working closely with dedicated Administrative Assistant and relevant internal teams
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Demonstrate proven experience supporting senior leaders at Executive Committee/MD level
- Evidence of working in a complex legal environment, with litigation or regulatory enforcement experience
- Bring strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to engage professionally with senior management and build effective relationships across a wide range of stakeholders
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage competing demands, exercise sound judgement and remain effective when working under pressure
- Bring experience of working in a complex and fast paced environment, adapting to changing priorities, while maintaining a consistently high level of service and attention to detail
