The role:
Leading the IT team, you will provide global IT support across our office locations and our remote worker network.
The main objective of this role is to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day IT operations supporting the business to work efficiently and effectively whilst keeping our data and equipment secure.
Responsibilities :
- Provide hands-on IT support to the company’s user base.
- Oversee IT systems, including both hardware and software components.
- Lead system upgrades, ongoing maintenance, and the implementation of future technology initiatives.
- Partner with teams across the organization to identify and implement process improvements.
- Ensure data and network security, promoting cyber resilience and user education.
- Shape and execute the company’s IT strategy.
- Manage and develop the IT team:
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings
- Set and track individual and team goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with IT suppliers and vendors.
- Oversee onboarding, offboarding, and IT training processes:
- Collaborate with the People team to coordinate onboarding, allocate assets, and set up required accounts/access.
- Deliver IT inductions for new hires.
- Manage equipment returns and access deactivation during offboarding.
- Software Management:
- Oversee all software services, including licensing and compliance.
- Hardware Management:
- Procure equipment for new employees and asset lifecycle replacements.
- Maintain detailed documentation of assets and warranties.
- Track asset lifecycle for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Manage the IT Helpdesk:
- Ensure efficient helpdesk operations and proper ticket prioritization.
- Set up and support video conferencing (VC) equipment for events.
- Handle hardware configurations for both Windows and Apple devices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an IT Manager with hands on expertise in systems administration and management
- A proactive and strong problem-solving mindset.
- 4 days office based
- Over 5 years of relevant IT experience. You’ll need to demonstrate your ability to work independently and proactively.
- Ability to communicate effectively across a range of stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Experience with end-user support processes for laptops (first-call resolution, problem tracking via help desk system, prioritising work requests).
- Knowledge of Windows OS, MAC OS, Microsoft’s O365, Active Directory and Group Policy.
