Studio Manager
Join ITG as our new Studio Manager and play a key role in bringing our eCommerce photography to life. Working closely with our talented studio teams, you’ll support the delivery of high-quality content for our John Lewis & Partners contract. Set within a retail-focused environment, this role is central to understanding, managing and overseeing content briefs, ensuring every output meets brand, creative and commercial expectations.
As Studio Manager, you’ll bring a strong background in eCommerce operations and a genuine enthusiasm for working within a fast-paced, growing studio team. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who thrives on collaboration, enjoys working with people and is happy to be on-site in our London studio every day.
You’ll be part of a highly creative environment, taking ownership of the studio’s day-to-day operations. This includes delegating and task-managing photographers and stylists, as well as coordinating a large freelance pool. You’ll also line manage our studio assistants and set build teams, ensuring the studio runs smoothly, efficiently and at pace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with Production to deliver photographic and video shoots across fashion, home and kids. You’ll maintain strong stakeholder communication, establish clear and effective processes for teams to follow, uphold studio standards including H&S management, and report into the senior Studio Management team.
- Able to think strategically while remaining agile and responsive to changing requirements. You’re comfortable working to tight deadlines across multiple briefs, inspiring teams to hit targets while maintaining high standards of quality and output.
- A natural thinker and doer, you’re just as comfortable being hands-on and leading by example to deliver projects as you are identifying solutions, efficiencies and improvements that drive optimisation and consistency across content production.
- A confident and clear communicator, you can effectively brief photographic, studio and set build teams on outputs, expectations and timelines, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Proactive and detail-focused, you’ll implement disciplined and cost-effective photography, studio and set build processes, alongside overseeing a structured approach to studio and workshop housekeeping, H&S policies and training, and photographic kit management.
- Ready to hit the ground running in this on-site role, you’ll work to agreed budgets and production processes, ensuring photographic outputs consistently meet stakeholder expectations and agreed deliverables.

- You have previous experience managing a high-volume photography, post production or creative studio
- You have excellent organisational skills and are process driven
- You are an effective and proactive stakeholder manager with the ability to communicate succinctly and efficiently
- You have the ability to multitask and ensure flawless execution and delivery, working in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
