SEN Teacher | Primary Autism Unit | September 2025 Start | Trials Ongoing | Brixton Area

A fantastic opportunity has opened up at a specialist Primary Autism Unit near Brixton, and they're looking for a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join them this September 2025. This is a full-time role teaching a small mixed Year 3-5 class with excellent in-class support. The school is trialling and interviewing throughout this term, so early applications are encouraged.

About the Role:

• Full-time SEN Teacher position starting in September 2025

• Working in a dedicated Autism Unit within a mainstream primary school

• Mixed Year 3-5 class of 10 pupils, all with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)

• Supported by 4 experienced LSAs in class

Who We're Looking For:

• A qualified SEN Teacher with classroom-based SEN experience (essential)

• Confident teaching pupils with ASC and adapting lessons to meet individual needs

• Calm, consistent, and supportive in your approach to behaviour and communication

• Able to work effectively with LSAs and other professionals to deliver high-quality provision

• ECTs with SEN placement experience are more than welcome to apply
