The main purpose of the Project Manager position is to manage and influence the delivery of many key concepts that help to accelerate our journey into becoming the world’s greatest service organisation. Create and maintain a robust delivery plan, ensuring all items are progressed to agreed timelines and aligned to scope.
Working closely with key ISS and client stakeholders you will develop, manage and deliver multiple programmes, projects and/or workstreams and support the continuous improvement of the associated business processes in cooperation with the countries and contract teams. In this context, you will get to handle a variety of tasks which require flexibility and prioritization capability and will allow you to involve all your skills and abilities.
Key expectations: to deliver the pre agreed project outcomes, liaison with all applicable stakeholders throughout the project delivery, management of risks, issues and escalations through the agreed governance frameworks; demonstrate the ability to prioritise and handle simultaneous complex tasks.
The Project Management Office will set the standards and define the governance framework for all change projects and programme delivery across the Barclays contract to ensure consistency and transparency.
What you’ll do
- Working with the Project Management Office, lead or support the rollout of account specific programmes, projects and/or workstreams within a business change programme.
- Define and implement plans based on Barclays and ISS requirements to deliver against the agreed strategic and tactical objectives.
- Work closely with the account PMO to ensure robust governance, utilisation of the ISS Project Management Framework, systems and processes.
- Support best practise and knowledge sharing globally.
- Manage the delivery of day-to-day activities in accordance with the project plan.
- Ensure accountability, focus, transparency and accelerated execution of projects.
- Demonstrate workload prioritisation with transparency of pipeline.
- Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure that goals are achieved.
- Ensure effective stakeholder management, a robust escalation management process as part of the applied governance model and a strong communications plan for each initiative being delivered.
- Identify dependencies and complexities relating to other programmes, projects and/or workstreams and coordinate to support resolution and alignment.
- Produce accurate and timely reporting to sponsor and key stakeholders including programme / project health, status of Key Performance Indicators, activity progress, risks and issues.
- Facilitate the RAID (Risks, Issues, Assumptions & Dependencies) management process.
- Maintain all programme and/or project documentation and coordinate the collation of relevant project / workstream documentation to support and evidence overall delivery.
- Develop budgets and operating plans and work with commercial and operational teams to create programme funding proposals.
- Ensure good commercial management and oversight of each project being delivered.
- Provide material for planning, training and support during the first phase of the roll out.
- Manage the successful hand-over to the receiving organisation or business unit.
- Ensure goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality and team performance.
- Manage the successful closure of the programme / project and ensure lessons learned are captured and implemented through best practice across regions and accounts.
- Identify continuous development opportunities and support the senior leadership team in winning them across the account.

- ISS Technical/SME’s leads on the contract and in ISS Group.
- ISS Functional/Operational leads across the global portfolio and third-party suppliers;
Key qualifications (essential):
• The job holder should have been educated to at least degree level or equivalent.
• Minimum five years proven Project Management experience, preferably in the FM industry, banking sector, corporate environments, corporate real estate and/or commercial offices.
• Appropriate professional accreditation (PMP, Prince2 Practitioner or equivalent).
• Experienced in the use of Programme and Project Management tools such as MS Project, MS Project Online, Power PPM or equivalent.
• Demonstrable understanding of commercial contracts.
• Proven ability to build successful stakeholder relationships, manage their expectations and act as a trusted source of advice.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong data analysis, report design and presentation skills.
• Computer literate (MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint).
• Ability to think strategically and understand the wider impact and benefits of a programme or project.
• Highly organised and responsive, with ability to deliver under pressure.
• Demonstrable ability to build strong and effective professional relationships.
• Positive team working ethos and commitment to delivery and learning.
• Ability to work as part of a wider team structure.
• Fluent in English (second language a bonus)

• Experienced working in a diverse environment with multiple cultures and nationalities.
• Experienced in the creation of organic growth through the delivery of excellent customer services and work-winning activities.
• Experienced facilitating teams to achieve defined outcomes, particularly within the workshop environment.
• Experienced working within matrix organisations and multiple reporting lines
