The Role
Responsibilities Include:
- Overseeing and directing asbestos removal, encapsulation, and environmental cleaning operations within the Utilities Sector.
- Ensuring strict adherence to the issued Plans of Work, current UK legislation, comprehensive specifications, and the DCUK FM Ltd Standard Operating Procedures and Health and Safety guidelines.
- Providing guidance and leadership to the Asbestos Removal Operatives.
- Monitoring the proper usage, maintenance, and care of all provided Personal Protective Equipment, Respiratory Protective Equipment, and Asbestos Removal plant and equipment, and promptly addressing any malfunctions or defects.
Requirements
- 1 year minimum working in an asbestos removal and supervisory envionment
- Full UK Drivers Licence
- Asbestos Awareness training
Schedule:
Working days are Monday - Friday. Overtime is available at the weekends subject to requirements. 40 hour working week as standard - some projects may require a 50 hour working week. Working hours as below:
- 40-hour week standard, (0800-1630, includes 30-minute unpaid lunch break).
- 50-hour week available on certain projects, (0800-1830, includes 30-minute unpaid lunch).
