Multiskilled Engineer
We are seeking experienced and reliable Multiskilled Engineer to join a dynamic on-site engineering team, supporting automated material handling systems. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on high-speed automated systems (conveyor systems). * Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, replace parts, and carry out modifications to improve system reliability. * Follow strict safety, compliance, and operational protocols. * Work closely with site engineers and operations teams to ensure uptime targets are achieved. * Record and report activities using CMMS or other maintenance tracking tools. * Support continuous improvement, 5S, and lean maintenance practices. Ideal Candidate Profile: * Time-served engineer or qualified technician (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / BTEC or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics). * Experience with automated systems. * Multi-skilled (mechanical and electrical fault-finding and repair). * Familiarity with working in safety-critical environments (e.g., logistics, manufacturing). * Flexible and reliable — comfortable with Panama shift pattern (2 on/2 off, 3 on/2 off, 2 on/3 off rotation). * Strong communicator and team player, able to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
