Strategy Associate - Group Strategy Planning

We're currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Strategy Associate - Group Strategy Planning. In this role, you'll:- Undertaking in-depth analysis to support the development and track execution of Group Strategy
- Identify key issues and opportunities using internal and external sources to provide actionable strategy recommendations for the group
- Engage with Analysts and Directors on strategic reviews to improve the quality of strategic planning, performance management, accountability, and governance
- Ensure timely consideration of market, industry, and competitor analysis to support planning and performance management activities
- Undertaking quantitative analysis of market drivers, internal performance trends, and M&A-related opportunities
- Build and maintain effective relationships with individuals at various levels of seniority by communicating clearly and collaborating across internal stakeholders, strategy colleagues, and other functions within the Group
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Experience working within a Strategy role in a Consultancy function is essential
- Demonstrable experience working within Financial Services, preferably within Banking
- Robust quantitative and analytical skillset, with the ability to work with complex data, including excel modeling (forecasting/budget)
- Familiarity with external sources such as Bloomberg and Capital IQ
- Demonstrable communication and critical thinking skills, including Excel modelling (forecasting/budget), and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at various levels of seniority
- Proven history of building strong working relationships and acting as a trusted business partner with stakeholders at all levels, across multiple businesses, functions, and geographies
