To do this we need the best people to help build our vision.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Child Protection Chair/Advisor (CPA) in our Safeguarding, Review and Quality Assurance Service. Our model of practice is systemic, with a focus on relationship-based practice. We work in collaboration with (not to) families and young people.

We are looking for a highly skilled child and family social worker with management or supervisory experience.

As a Child Protection Chair/Advisor you will provide safeguarding consultation and advice to professionals within the organisation and partner agencies and chair Child Protection Conferences (using a relational strength-based approach) and other complex meetings. The role also has a key quality assurance function which includes providing independent oversight of child protection work and planning and contributing to the raising of practice standards.

Enjoy taking on new challenges? The successful candidate needs to be analytical, motivated, and have the confidence to remain independent and effectively challenge decision making at all levels.

The position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to evidence your intervention and oversight on the child’s file. The role also requires the skills, knowledge and confidence to be able to work independently and autonomously.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career within a supportive and dynamic service, offering you comprehensive training and development opportunities.
