Electrical Engineer

Technip Energies UKOC is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Electrical Engineer with an interest to work on power station and transmission projects as part of the Electrical Team in our Milton Keynes office. The opportunity will include career development as an electrical engineer with potential to work on other major energy transition projects in both UK and international markets in the future.

Main Accountabilities :

This key role will report to the Electrical Lead on the project and will have responsibility for the following:

• Participates in the timely and qualitative preparation of technical specifications and requisitions / CN / engineering deliverables in coordination with other disciplines.
• Assists more senior engineers in ensuring that contractual technical specifications are met by external parties / suppliers.
• Ensures proper communication with vendors and technical follow up of the orders.
• Adheres to project target and priority such as the committed man/hours and technical robustness, budget & schedule target
• Ensures timely reporting on engineering / requisitioning activities to the Lead Discipline Engineer.
• Meets quality and HSE objectives of the project.
• Interfaces with other discipline specialist engineers and possibly project support functions such as procurement and planning.

Scope :

The scope of this role is:

• Dedicated to one or several projects
• Working under close supervision of more senior specialist engineers
• Application of procedures and standards

Knowledge :

This role requires as a minimum:

• Engineering Degree or HNC with fundamental level experience in Design and execution of projects in conventional energy & / new energy segments and facilities
• Entry level or Fundamental experience
• Knowledge of equipment / activity
• Fluency in English
