Rotating 4 on 4 off – Days & Nights (5am-5pm / 5pm-5am)

A well‑established manufacturing business is seeking a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support plant and equipment performance across a high‑volume production facility.

This is a hands‑on shift‑based role, ideal for an engineer who enjoys a varied workload, fault‑finding under pressure and maintaining high engineering and safety standards.

Role & Responsibilities:

* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment
* Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime and support continuous production
* Complete preventative maintenance tasks in line with site schedule and priorities
* Record work completed, parts used and maintenance activity accurately
* Maintain safe working practices and comply with food safety and health & safety standards

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

* Experience in a maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing or production environment
* Time‑served apprenticeship with electrical and/or mechanical qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3, HNC desirable)
* Proven fault‑finding ability across electrical and mechanical plant
* Previous experience working with a PPM system
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
