YOUR FUTURE ROL
We are looking for a Senior Basis Engineer who will manage the SAP S4HANA daily operations of our SAP ecosystem. The professional will manage the client relationships and work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle to analyze, design, build, test, implement and/or maintain multiple system components or applications. The individual must have strong technical knowledge of SAP systems and databases. Additional responsibilities include managing periodic maintenance activities, refreshes, patching, and upgrades.
The role includes the following tasks:
- Act as an SAP technical consultant accountable for the design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA capabilities
- Strong knowledge of multi-system landscape architecture and integration aspects between heterogeneous system technologies (Global focus desired), in the areas of build and support for S/4HANA, HCM SFSF, BTP, SAC, IBP, Ariba, Fieldglass and HANA.
- Design, implement, monitor, and optimize SAP landscapes and dependent technologies.
- Monitors and tunes system performance and workload.
- Manage and performs system refreshes; participates in the scheduling of refreshes as requested.
- Willingness to Support On-call rotation schedule
What you will bring
- A minimum of 7 years of SAP experience with at least three years focus on SAP S/4HANA
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in an appropriate field
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to create and sustain meaningful client relationships
- System landscape design and management experience in operations and project scenarios
- Plan and manage SAP systems maintenance schedule
- Involved in planning and testing of the DR
- Deep understanding of SAP best practices on Backup and Recovery
- Troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Implementation, upgrade and support of the latest SAP systems versions, running on Windows/Linux OS and HANA/Sybase/Oracle/SQL Server
- Understanding of automation tools like Ansible and Terraform
- Due to the potentially classified nature of our work, you are required to subject yourself to a governmental security clearance process () and job offer and employment will be conditional on obtaining security clearance.
