Qualified Early Years Educator - Term-time only - Afternoons only

Pippa Pop-ins are looking for a Qualified Level 2 / L3 Early Years Educator's to join the team at one of our nurseries in Fulham!

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 11am - 6pm or 12 - 6pm Please only apply if you can do these hours.

Qualifications needed for the Early Years Educator :

• Minimum Level 2 Early Years Educator qualification (or other full and relevant Early Years qualification - check on gov.uk to see if your qualification is full and relevant: )
• Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
• Knowledge of child development theories and practices
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Paediatric First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation governing childcare (e.g., Safeguarding)

Duties of the Early Years Educator:

• Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5
• Plan and implement EYFS-appropriate activities, ensuring they are stimulating and engaging
• Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
• Observe and assess children's development, identifying any areas of concern
• Collaborate with parents and other staff members to support children's individual needs
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
• Ensure the nursery is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all children
