Afterschool Nanny in Muswell Hill, Job ID J21D43
A Muswell Hill based family seeks an Afterschool Nanny to help care for their two school aged children. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of childcare experience and will speak fluent English. Someone reliable, patient, energetic, understanding, and confident supporting children with autism and ADHD would be ideal for this role. The nanny will be responsible for the children’s safety, well-being, care, and development. Cooking would be a big bonus. A driver is required for this role, and the family can provide a car.
A valid first aid certification is required for this role.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 20+ hours per week. The family can be flexible for the right candidate and may offer increased hours during school holidays.
Duties include:
- caring for two children, aged 9 and 11 years old
- supporting children with autism and ADHD
- ensuring the children’s safety, well-being, care, and development
- carrying out school runs
- implementing daily routines
- preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
- helping with homework
- organising and joining in activities
- washing and bathing the children when required
- keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas clean and tidy
- bringing a calm, patient, and understanding approach
- cooking for the children, if agreed
- working extra hours during school holidays when required
