SEN Teacher - PMLD School - Ilford - September Start - Full Time
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a specialist PMLD school in Ilford for a September start. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive specialist setting, helping students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) access education within a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. The school supports pupils with a range of complex needs including PMLD, Autism, sensory needs, physical disabilities, communication needs, and complex medical requirements. The Role:- Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Supporting pupils with complex needs and differentiated learning approaches
- Working closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists, and wider professionals
- Creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment
- Supporting pupils' academic, social, emotional, and communication development
- Contributing to EHCP targets and progress monitoring The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold a QTS
- Have previous SEN teaching experience or a strong interest in specialist education
- Experience supporting PMLD students is highly desirable
- Be patient, caring, and adaptable
- Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Be passionate about supporting vulnerable children and young people The Role Offers:
