Product Manager
The opportunity
We have an opportunity for a Product Manager to join us on the exciting and rewarding path we are taking here at Castle Trust Bank. We pride ourselves in being a fintech challenger bank, providing specialist property mortgages, retail finance lending and savings accounts to a variety of customers.
This is a unique opportunity where you will be responsible for managing, evaluating and monitoring product performance and customer outcomes within Omni Capital, our retail finance point-of-sale business. You will play a key role in supporting our Head of Revenue to identify areas for improvement for input into the change agenda, including market landscaping to provide competitor insight and to inform business strategies.
You will determine metrics for monitoring product performance whilst assisting with the product strategy development and execution. Complying with Castle Trust Bank’s policies and procedures on new products and governance, you will lead technology in change programs, identifying improvements for growth, efficiency and resilience. You will be responsible for transforming the Omni Capital customer journey, championing and enhancing the brand’s ESG commitments and objectives.
The role will be on a hybrid working arrangement, 3 days a week from our London office and the rest of the week from home.
What we are looking for in you…
What is important to us is that you have proven experience of product management and/or development (including proposition development and an understanding of the full product lifecycle) that demonstrates business benefit, preferably within a regulated credit/consumer lending and B2B2C setting. If you have an understanding of the POS finance market that would be beneficial, along with an understanding of the retailer digital eco-system and competitor landscape. You will have the ability to manage and translate various information sources to drive requirements - including market intelligence to establish market trends, customer feedback, retailer feedback, internal requirements.
What is equally important is that you have effective presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage with and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels within the organisation. You will possess a broad skillset with the ability to work across multiple functions including the commercial team, marketing, operations, finance, project and technology teams. You will need to have the ability to pay meticulous attention to detail and operate to high-quality standards.
