As part of this transformation, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Change team on a 5-month fixed-term contract.
This role offers the opportunity to lead complex change initiatives across investment management, wealth management, and platform operations within a highly regulated financial services environment.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will support the delivery of the Change portfolio within a defined business unit, ensuring projects are effectively planned, resourced, and delivered in line with strategic outcomes.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts to manage project delivery, governance, budgets, risks, and resources while ensuring alignment with organisational standards and change delivery best practices.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead Change projects within a defined business unit or function
• Define project structures, governance frameworks, and resourcing models
• Plan and manage project delivery, including milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and risks
• Manage stakeholder relationships to resolve issues and ensure successful outcomes
• Prioritise and allocate internal and external resources across project activities
• Monitor project performance against KPIs, timelines, and budgets
• Manage and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating where appropriate
• Ensure project documentation, plans, and reporting are maintained and aligned to governance standards
• Contribute to the Change Community of Practice, helping improve ways of working and delivery standards
• Support the development and coaching of team members involved in project delivery
Experience Required
• Experience acting as Project Manager for a small programme, managing both programme-level activity and underlying workstreams
• Proven ability to work closely with subject matter experts to assess impacts and prioritise work
• Experience delivering projects involving multiple external partners or third parties
Industry experience should include:
• Experience delivering regulatory change initiatives within wealth or asset management
• Exposure to the US move to T+1 settlement would be advantageous
