About the Role

As a Mobile Mechanic in our Service, Maintenance, and Repair division, you will:

• Provide expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills at various locations, from driveways to office car parks.
• Deliver first-class service without the constraints of a traditional garage.
• Enjoy the independence of working outside the usual four walls.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and checks on a range of light vehicles.
• Manage stock and reporting while maintaining excellent customer communication.
• Represent the RAC with pride and professionalism during every customer interaction.

Requirements

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a vehicle technician.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Working Conditions

We offer:

• A competitive base salary of £38,625, with on-target earnings of up to £55,000.
• Guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary to £44,385.
• A full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays.
• Locations available in London and Greater London.
