About the Role
As a Mobile Mechanic in our Service, Maintenance, and Repair division, you will:
- Provide expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills at various locations, from driveways to office car parks.
- Deliver first-class service without the constraints of a traditional garage.
- Enjoy the independence of working outside the usual four walls.
Responsibilities
- Perform servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and checks on a range of light vehicles.
- Manage stock and reporting while maintaining excellent customer communication.
- Represent the RAC with pride and professionalism during every customer interaction.
Requirements
- Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a vehicle technician.
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
Working Conditions
We offer:
- A competitive base salary of £38,625, with on-target earnings of up to £55,000.
- Guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary to £44,385.
- A full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays.
- Locations available in London and Greater London.
