Managing Director
ACJ Search are working with an established UK manufacturer to appoint a new Managing Director to lead the next phase of its development. This role represents an opportunity to make a real impact on an already successful organisation.
This is a commercially focused role with a clear mandate to drive strong, profitable growth. The successful candidate will take full P&L responsibility, develop and execute a growth strategy and lead an experienced senior management team.
Key areas of focus will include:
- Driving organic growth and increasing market share.
- Developing sales through an established dealer / distributor network.
- Building strong channel relationships and improving commercial performance.
- Ensuring product development, marketing, sales and operations are effectively aligned.
- Leading and challenging an experienced management team.
- Taking overall responsibility for a complex manufacturing and operations environment.
- Operating with significant autonomy and taking full ownership of business performance.
We are looking for a commercially driven leader with experience in a manufacturing business which develops and sells its own products. You will need strong P&L experience, an understanding of how to win through complex sales channels and the credibility to operate effectively at board level.
Candidates should have strong, proven commercial experience combined with a broad understanding of all aspects of a manufacturing business.
The position is based in the South West and will require a regular on-site presence.
