Drama teacher- Magnificent school in Haringey- April start
Wayman Group is seeking a passionate Drama teacher to join a magnificent school in Haringey, starting in April. As a Drama teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students in the creative arts. Your main responsibilities will include planning and delivering dynamic Drama lessons, developing students' performance skills, and fostering their creativity. You will work closely with other teachers, parents, and the wider school community to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons, tailored to students' abilities and interests
- Develop students' performance skills, confidence, and creativity through workshops and practical activities
- Collaborate with colleagues to create and implement a comprehensive Drama curriculum
- Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support
- Maintain accurate records of students' achievements, attendance, and behaviour
- Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on students' progress and addressing any concerns
- Participate in school events, such as productions, competitions, and parent-teacher meetings
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Drama to primary and secondary school students
- Strong knowledge of Drama theory, techniques, and curriculum frameworks
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Passion for Drama and the ability to inspire and engage students in the creative arts
- Ability to create a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to plan and deliver effective lessons

Paid to scale on MPS/UPS
