Partnerships Manager - Hotels, Luxury & Tourist Boards

Your team: The Travel Sales team is an externally facing multimedia sales hub dedicated to maximising market share within the travel industry. We focus on the cruise and touring sectors, leveraging advertising opportunities across print, digital, video, social, and radio to position News UK as an expert thought leader in the market.

Your role: You will take on a vital externally facing position, driving revenue and market share by securing and growing advertising partnerships with major travel clients. Serving as an expert and thought leader in the travel industry, you will pitch bespoke, multi-format campaigns while building robust relationships with direct clients and their media agencies to deliver overarching solutions that meet their commercial goals.

Day to day you will

• Own revenue targets for key travel categories, driving commercial growth across all brands and achieving digital growth objectives.

• Develop strategic relationships with direct clients—up to the executive level—and media agencies to deeply understand their product mix, customer segments, and future plans.

• Pitch innovative, bespoke, multi-channel advertising solutions utilising our editorial content, video capabilities, social platforms, and other unique News UK assets.

• Generate incremental revenue by up-selling cross-platform solutions, securing long-term commitments, and proactively securing business from new clients.

• Represent News UK at trade events and client functions, speaking knowledgeably on industry panels to elevate our profile within the travel sector.

What we're looking for from you

• Proven experience in multimedia sales, with a strong track record of managing a sales pipeline and meeting revenue targets.

• Demonstrable experience developing and pitching creative, cross-platform advertising campaigns to high-level stakeholders and media agency partners.

• Strategic relationship-building capabilities, enabling you to quickly understand complex client objectives and translate them into actionable, compelling media proposals.

• Clear and persuasive communication skills, essential for negotiating deals, delivering campaign performance insights, and leading immersive client sessions.

• A proactive and highly organised approach to business development, allowing you to seamlessly collaborate with internal teams to optimise campaign delivery.
