Location: Bexley, South East London Start Date: September Contract: Full-Time
A thriving secondary school in Bexley is seeking a qualified and passionate PE Teacher to join their energetic and supportive department.
Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an ambitious ECT, this role offers the chance to make a real impact, delivering engaging lessons, supporting student development, and contributing to a vibrant sporting department.
The Role:
Deliver a variety of practical PE lessons across KS3 and KS4 , including team sports, fitness, and individual disciplines
Teach PE theory at KS3 and KS4, supporting students in understanding the science and strategy behind sport
Deliver Sport Studies at KS4, helping students explore the wider context of physical education
Create an inclusive and motivating environment where students feel confident to participate and progress
Plan and prepare high-quality lessons that raise attainment and promote a passion for sport
Requirements:
A qualified PE teacher with QTS
Strong planning and classroom management skills
Commitment to raising student achievement and engagement
Ability to teach both practical and theory PE , including Sport Studies
A team player who thrives in a collaborative and supportive department
