£120 £140 per day Wandsworth Full-Time, Term-Time
Are you a passionate Teaching Assistant with BSL Level 2 looking to make a real difference in the lives of young learners?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed TA to join a supportive school in Wandsworth, working with pupils who are Deaf or have hearing impairments.
The Role
- Support students in class, small groups, and 1:1 settings.
- Use British Sign Language (BSL Level 2 minimum required) to communicate effectively.
- Assist with lesson delivery and adapt resources to meet individual learning needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals to provide holistic support.
- Promote inclusion and independence for all pupils.
Requirements
- BSL Level 2 qualification (essential).
- Previous experience working with children or young people with hearing impairments.
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
- A proactive and flexible attitude.
- Valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
