Terminal Delivery Operative - Heathrow Airport

Aviation Recruitment experts Optime are searching for Terminal Delivery Operatives to join a well-respected and successful client in Heathrow Airport. This rewarding role offers full training, excellent pay and you can choose your shift preference.

What’s on offer:

• Pay rate:
• £12.38 -£13.27 per hour.
• Shift Pattern: 4 on – 2 off
• Available shifts, AM, PM or Nights (Please see shift times below)
• Hours 40 hours per week
• Weekly pay (every Friday)
• Start once you have your Blue ID
• Temp to Perm (performance based)

Key Duties:

• Helping with getting trollies and containers to be delivered to shops/restaurants around the airport.
• Lifting items of up to 80kg in weight. You must be physically able to commit to this. Manual handling experience is preferred.
• Organising and placing deliveries in designated areas and stock rooms.
• Taking responsibility for the trollies/containers coming in.
• Ensuring all equipment is operated in line with the training guidelines and health and safety guidelines.
• Health and safety procedures must always be followed.

Shifts & Pay:

• AM Shifts – 6AM – 2PM at £12.38 per hour (Increasing to £13.96 per hour after 12 weeks)
• PM Shifts – 2PM – 10PM at £12.67 per hour (Increasing to £14.27 per hour after 12 weeks)
• Nights – 10PM- 6AM at £13.27 per hour (Increasing to £14.90 per hour after 12 weeks)

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills within a team setting are required.

• Must have resided in the UK for 3 or more years.
• Able to deal with heavy deliveries.
• Great work ethic.
• Experience of working towards goals.
• Strictly no Part time / student visa.
