A rapidly growing specialist Property lender is seeking a proactive and driven Finance Associate to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for Real Estate and finance who is eager to learn and contribute to the development of a high-performing finance function.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Financial Controller and Head of Finance, supporting daily financial operations, driving operational improvements, and maintaining high-quality reporting standards. This role offers hands-on exposure across the business and an opportunity to grow in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cash movements across the business and to external parties to support loan completions, drawdowns, and redemptions.

• Assist with preparing borrower and investor documentation throughout the transaction stages.

• Analyse the loan book and perform accurate financial calculations related to interest payments.

• Handle daily reconciliations and support month-end procedures, including accounts payable and receivable.

• Conduct portfolio reviews and prepare related reports.

• Provide support to the senior finance team and the MD

• Research and implement systems that improve operational efficiency.

About you

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

• Strong attention to detail & excellent numeracy skills

• Proficiency with Xero (or similar software) and Excel

• Ability to manage a high volume of tasks and prioritise effectively.

• Strong communication skills and an ability to build relationships with stakeholders.

• Project management capabilities and a proactive approach to improving processes.
