Busy Bees is seeking a Regional Relief Nursery Practitioner to provide support across nine of our beautiful centres in the East London area and three of our centres in the South London area . Whether you're a university student looking for summer work, someone with experience in childcare, or simply looking to pick up extra hours, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
You don’t need to be qualified to apply – we welcome applicants with no qualifications , as well as those with a Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare .
The role does require you to have Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle as you will be providing support across our Essex area consisting of seven centres.
The hourly rate ranges from £12.75 to £13.90 , depending on your qualifications, travel costs are reimbursed . You'll gain valuable experience across a variety of settings while being part of a friendly and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and delivering educational activities for children.
- Support the team in maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.
- Help children develop socially, emotionally, and physically through engaging play-based learning.
- Ensure the welfare and safety of all children is maintained.
Ideal Candidate
- No formal qualifications are required, although a Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare is beneficial. Prior experience in early years settings is also an advantage.
- A passion for working with children and supporting their development.
- Empathy and understanding – each child is unique.
- Holds a valid UK driving licence or is comfortable travelling between centres across East and South London

Our hourly rates of pay differ for people under 21 but they are above national minimum wage levels. For employees aged 21 and above, our hourly rate of pay is £12.75.
