We are seeking a full-time Sous Chef to support the delivery of high-quality catering services across the School.

Working alongside the Executive Head Chef, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of a busy kitchen operation, supervising a team and kitchen porters, maintaining exceptional standards of food quality and presentation, and ensuring the smooth delivery of catering services for the school community and special events.

To be successful, you will have strong leadership and organisational skills, a passion for producing excellent food, and a thorough understanding of food safety, hygiene and allergen management. You will be committed to maintaining the highest standards of kitchen operations, stock control and team development and will be confident deputising for the Executive Head Chef when required.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a professional and supportive catering team within a leading independent school environment.

Hours: 7.00am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday during term time and including prep days, inset days, entrance exam days, etc. (36 weeks). During the school holiday periods (16 weeks), hours worked will be 8.00am to 2.30pm. A 30-minute unpaid lunch break will be taken during both term time and school holidays.
