The Opportunity

Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an enthusiastic Demi Chef de Partie to join our Andaz Liverpool Street team. In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the broader culinary team, where you’ll be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. As a Demi Chef de Partie , you will play a vital role in supporting the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in delivering consistently high-quality culinary experiences across all outlets. You will be expected to demonstrate creativity, precision, and a commitment to excellence in every aspect of your work.

• Preparation: Execute all aspects of Mise en Place (MEP), ensuring readiness and consistency for service across multiple outlets.

• Food Quality & Presentation: Assist in the preparation and presentation of dishes to the highest standards, maintaining consistency in taste, texture, and visual appeal.

• Hygiene & Safety Compliance: Uphold rigorous hygiene and food safety standards in accordance with HACCP and company policies.

• Workstation & Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all kitchen areas, tools, and machinery are clean, organised , and well-maintained to support efficient operations.

• Policy Implementation: Support the implementation of food policies, including allergen management and dietary requirements, ensuring compliance and guest safety.

• Inventory & Ordering: Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients to minimise waste and maintain freshness.

• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the kitchen team, contributing to a positive and productive environment.

• Learning & Development: Engage in continuous professional development, attending training sessions and seeking opportunities to expand your culinary skills and knowledge.
