We are partnering with a top-tier international law firm with a leading reputation in commercial real estate, on an exciting opportunity for a 3+ PQE Real Estate Associate. This is a client-focused role, offering a unique chance to work as part of a dedicated delivery team for one of the firm’s major clients, combining exposure to high-value transactional work with a flexible, forward-thinking working model.
The Role
You will act as a key legal resource for a major client, operating within a structured delivery model that leverages innovation and legal technology to provide efficient, high-quality advice. The role is flexible, allowing for a primarily home-based arrangement with regular visits to the Leeds office (once-twice per month) and occasional trips to London for client meetings and initial training.
You will have the opportunity to:

- Work within a progressive team that values innovative approaches, including the use of generative AI and other legal tech tools.
- Manage your own caseload, including drafting and negotiating commercial leases, ancillary documents, and handling tenant due diligence.
- Supervise junior lawyers and paralegals, providing guidance and support.
- Contribute to wider client account initiatives, including precedent development, process improvements, and collaboration across the firm’s delivery team.
Your Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will have:
- 3+ years PQE in commercial real estate in England & Wales, preferably with a focus on L&T work
- Strong technical skills in lease drafting, negotiation, and management of high-volume transactional matters.
- Excellent client service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and communicate clearly.
- Experience in high-paced, team-oriented environments, with exposure to legal technology tools and structured processes.
- A proactive, commercially-minded approach with a focus on identifying risks, opportunities, and practical solutions.
Why This Role
This is an opportunity to join a world-class practice where you will be supported in your professional development while working in a role that combines autonomy with team collaboration. The firm is renowned for technical excellence, innovative approaches to real estate work, and a strong culture of growth, diversity, and collaboration.
