About the role

⚡ Full responsibility of the financial processes at LEVC Dealerships.
⚡ Manage the production of the monthly Dealership P&L.
⚡ Completion of month-end process, ensuring all journals are posted in a timely manner.
⚡ Ensure reconciliations of relevant commercial balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
⚡ Production of budgets and forecasts.
⚡ Monthly financial reviews with retail heads of department, sales director and head of commercial finance.
⚡ Management responsibilities for dealership finance staff.
⚡ Business partnering the head of retail and retail operations management team.
⚡ Ensure processes and controls are in place to ensure accuracy of financial information.
⚡ Management of the internal and external audit processes for the retail sites.
⚡ Provision of information as required by LEVC or Geely.
⚡ Any other ad-hoc tasks as determined by line manager.

 

Experience to succeed

⚡ Qualified accountant or qualified by experience.

⚡ A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the automotive sector is required.

⚡ Dealership, OEM experience would be desirable but not essential.

⚡ Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

⚡ Strong understanding of cost control, cash flow management, and financial analysis.

⚡ Experience with the Pinawood system is preferred.

⚡ Ability to work proactively with minimal supervision

⚡ Strong IT and finance system skills and advanced Excel skills

⚡ Experience leading month-end and year-end closing processes

⚡ Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills

⚡ Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to present financial information to non-financial team members

⚡ Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
