Purpose of the job

Reporting into the Head of Global Business Applications you will build and transformation modern work strategies with our functions, collaborating across different groups on the planning, orchestration, and execution of end-to-end Employee Experience throughout the proficient use of our Microsoft applications, including but not limited to MS Office Applications, Viva Engage, Glint, SharePoint and Power Apps, Powe Automate, MS Forms and MS Office Applications, and their associated offerings, Next Generation Windows Experiences, as well as Copilot to deepen modern worker end-to-end expertise. In terms of the “building work” play a key role in driving the design and implementation of digital-transformation solutions for our end users through the user of Power Platforms, one key area being utilisation of Power Automate with the goal of streamlining processes, increase operational efficiency, using Low-Code Automation and data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively shape and contribute to the strategy and roadmap for GBS workplace applications, ensuring alignment with business needs and digital transformation goals.
  • Lead the adoption and integration of employee experience tools such as Viva Engage, Glint, SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, with a strong focus on usability and business impact.
  • Identify and define compelling business use cases for integrating AI and Co-Pilot within the Microsoft 365 suite, and develop low-code solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Excel/PowerQuery.
  • Serve as an advocate for modern workplace technologies, running workshops and demonstrations to educate and influence stakeholders on the value of low-code platforms and integrated 365 tools.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business leads, project managers, and technical teams to identify process improvement opportunities and champion scalable digital solutions.
  • Provide expert-level support, documentation, and training for end users and internal teams, fostering confidence and adoption of workplace applications.
  • Analyse and understand business processes, recommending and building practical tech-driven solutions that improve decision-making, efficiency, and user experience.
  • Where appropriate, integrate Microsoft 365 tools with existing systems using Power Automate (light use) and other methods to support process automation.
  • Stay informed of the latest updates and capabilities within Power Apps, Power BI, and other Microsoft 365 applications, sharing insights with stakeholders and adapting best practices.
  • Monitor and assess emerging trends in workplace technology, ensuring the business remains ahead of the curve in its digital workplace strategy.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required; Master’s degree a plus.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 tools, especially Power Apps, Power Automate, MS Forms, Power BI, Excel, PowerQuery, SharePoint, Viva Engage, and Glint.
  • Sound understanding of how to leverage the Microsoft ecosystem (including Co-Pilot and AI tools) to drive business transformation and insight.
  • Experience operating within fast-paced, high-volume environments, balancing deadlines with stakeholder engagement.
  • Confident and credible communicator, able to influence at all levels of an organisation, from end users to senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change, challenge legacy processes, and encourage digital adoption.
  • Familiarity with integration methods (APIs, connectors, and dataflows) within the 365 environment.
  • Microsoft certifications are desirable but not essential.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality, user-focused solutions.
